David Pleat the Tottenham Hotspur caretaker manager as denied newspaper romours
linking himself with an attempt to buy Rushden and Diamonds.
Pleat who is currently in temporary charge of Tottenham Hotspur told rdfcNet that
he has no knowledge of any meetings, discussions or contact between himself or
any third parties, or others, regarding any takeover at Nene Park.
Its been three weeks now since Max Griggs announced his decision to sell the Diamonds
and in that time rumors about potential new buyers have included Rod Stewart,
Frioz Kassam, Weetabix and most recently David Pleat.
