Lowe's gone, two down, next

Eric Black has made a transfer day signing, snapping up Rushden and Diamonds striker Onandi Lowe until the end of the season. The Sky Blues have taken over the 29-year-old’s deal with the Second Division outfit, which expires in the summer.

Lowe is a full Jamaican international who has scored 16 goals for Rushden this season. A tall, powerful forward who stands at 6’3", Lowe’s only other English club was Port Vale, who he signed for on loan in 2001, making five league appearances.

He originally joined Rushden on loan in December 2001 from Kansas City, and was awarded a contract after scoring seven goals in 12 league appearances. Since then he has scored 42 goals in 75 league starts for the Northamptonshire club.
