Where to eat in Irthlingborough
If you haven't eaten when you leave Nene Park or you have tried
the normal football ground food like beef burgers, cheese burgers,
hot-dogs, chips etc the best place to go after the game is up
into Irthlingborough to eat there or get a take away. For a
town of Irthlingboroughs size there is surprisingly a good choice
of food available, 2 Indian Restaurant's, 2 Chip Shops, an Chinese
take away and a Cantonese take away. As you head up Station
Road you'll come to the first Indian Restaurant in Irthlingborough
which is Tandoori Nights on your left, go past this and you'll
come to the Cross in the middle of the town, on your right hand
side is the Jumbo Chinese take away. If you go straight across
the roundabout which is the Cross you'll go into the High Street,
on your left hand side if the Golden Harvest which is the Cantonese
take away. Keep on going down the High Street and you will reach
the Eastern Spice Indian Restaurant on your right hand side,
after this just down the road is Canton House, which is a Fish
and Chip Shop and Chinese Takeaway, if you drive past that and
go over the hill past the Oliver Twist you will see Vince's
Fish Bar on your right hand side. If none of this takes you
fancy or you just need a quick bit to eat there is 2 McDonalds
near to Nene Park, the first McDonalds can be found on the A45
near Raunds Town's Football Ground on the way to the A14, the
other McDonalds can be found on the A45 next to the Wilby roundabout
in Wellingborough.
